This explains what this website collects, why, and who else sees it. Plain language, no small print.

What you give us
If you fill in the consultation form on this site, we ask for five things:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your town
- What you are planning (kitchen, cabinets, general construction, something else)
- When you would like to start
We do not ask for your email address, and the form has no message box. That is deliberate: we only ask for what we need to call you back and understand the job before we visit.
What gets collected without you typing anything
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser and records things like the pages you open, the site or search that sent you here, your device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from your internet address. We see totals and trends, not a list of named people.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which is normal for any website.
Why we use it
- To call you back, arrange the in-home visit and quote your project
- To keep our own records of the work we have quoted and carried out
- To see which parts of the site are useful and which are not
Who else sees it
Only the companies that make this site work, and only for that purpose:
- Web3Forms delivers the form to our inbox and keeps a copy of the submissions
- Microsoft 365 hosts the mailbox that receives them
- Google Analytics processes the usage data described above
- Bluehost hosts this website
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone who wants to sell you something. If a job needs a plumber, an electrician or a roofer, we pass on what they need to do the work and nothing else.
Cookies, and how to switch them off
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones. You can block them from your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you do. The consultation form does not need cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to quote and carry out your project, and afterwards in our business records. Usage data in Google Analytics is deleted automatically after the retention period set in our account.
How it travels
This site is served over a secure connection (the padlock in your browser), and what you type into the form is sent over that same encrypted connection. Nothing you send us goes across the internet in the open.
Your choices
Call us at (203) 628-0671 or write to jacinto@salinasdc.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill in for that, just ask.
If this changes
If we start collecting something different, we change this page and update the date at the top.
